The gorgeous weather yesterday prompted us to go to Lanie’s - one of my favorite lunch stops- so we could eat outside. Sunshine, relaxation, fresh air and all that. We had to nix the fresh air part of that equation, at least for the first part of our lunch. The women sitting next to us were heavily done up-from their dark, nearly stage-like makeup, to their long painted nails and their cleavage-baring shirts.
